The CCM Foundation For Youth
The Foundation was developed in response to the “Young People First: A Bold Plan to Address Connecticut’s Statewide Crisis” report, which is a strong call to action to remedy the challenges faced by young people who are at-risk or disconnected from education and employment. It is the Foundation’s mission to support our state’s youth with resources, mentorship, and advocacy for state and community support that will foster opportunities where young people can develop skills and connections to navigate life’s challenges and achieve their aspirations.
- Advocacy at the state legislature, state agencies and commissions, and to get at-risk and disconnected youth back on track, reducing the at-risk and disconnected population by half.
- Education, training, issues campaigns, seminars, webinars, publications, among other means.
- Confront systemic issues of our current educational system and provide for meaningful reform.
- Partnering with other entities/organizations to promote growth and prosperity within Connecticut’s young people communities.
