CCM GreatBlue Research Polling Data
New Haven, CT - January 21, 2025
The Connecticut Conference of Municipalities (CCM) has released a comprehensive survey of registered voters in Connecticut to better understand resident’s feelings on education funding.
CCM commissioned this poll through Strother Nuckels Strategies and GreatBlue Research to assess public knowledge and perceptions to help inform policy makers on the balance of education funding and the role of state funding and oversight.
The research will further help address potential concerns around education funding, identify opportunities for better funding outcomes, help guide agency efforts in raising awareness about education funding and support strategies to promote better outcomes and opportunities for the state’s students, educators and education support systems.
"GreatBlue Research, a market research firm headquartered in Glastonbury, CT, conducted a poll of Connecticut registered voters to explore their perspectives on education funding and priorities in the state. The survey included a sample of N=400 registered voters and was fielded from January 6-13, 2025. Respondents were recruited through opt-in online and digital panels, stratified by gender, age, and education to ensure demographic representation. To further enhance accuracy, the final sample was weighted by gender, age, and Connecticut county, with targets originally derived from the 2023 American Community Survey (ACS) 5-Year Estimates by the U.S. Census Bureau. The margin of error on this study was +/-4.85% at a 95% confidence level."
