In response to a growing number of electric vehicle (EV) drivers, municipalities across Connecticut are installing EV charging stations for a greener and cleaner future in their communities. There are several reasons why municipal leaders should consider at least one EV charging station for their town or city. Reduced greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and encourage EV adoption with public EV charging infrastructure. When strategically placed, EV charging stations could attract residents and visitors to commercial districts – a win for cities looking for economic development opportunities.
With utility incentives available, Connecticut towns and cities are among those leading the way in supporting EV charging infrastructure at strategically placed public sites. CCM Energy Partners, Titan Energy and Resource Lighting and Energy, Inc. (RLE), provide a turn-key approach to assisting municipalities access and install EV charging infrastructure.
