In times of uncertainty, employees can be empowered with tools that promote resiliency, productivity, holistic wellbeing and connection. This session will focus on municipal employer strategies to engage employees in positive solutions, promote cultures of trust and develop psychologically safe workplaces in this “new normal.”

LEARNING OBJECTIVES back to top

Anticipated Outcomes:
1) Attendees will learn the financial impact of mental health and the opportunity presented by a strategic solution targeted for the public sector.
2) Presenter will review insights and success metrics that can be implemented to document outcomes and trend analysis.
3) Attendees will learn to identify key action areas and how to get started, learn language and tools necessary for de-stigmatizing mental health in the workplace, and outline a strategic resiliency plan.

Participants will gain an understanding of:
1) Innovative practices and remote learning opportunities that have a strong value proposition for the organization.
2) Benchmark programs from best practice municipalities.
3) National and local resources for on-going training and development.
