How to Organize and Operate a Safe and Effective Municipal Vaccination Clinic: Vaccinating Vulnerable and At-Risk Communities

WEBINAR

9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Held in Partnership with the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities (CCM) and the Connecticut Interlocal Risk Management Agency (CIRMA).

PROGRAM OVERVIEW back to top

Cities and towns across Connecticut have put in an extraordinary amount of time and planning in preparation for opening their doors and providing a new type of public service: administering COVID-19 vaccines. Many municipal leaders worry about whether they have the ability to organize, operate and staff a COVID-19 vaccination clinic. Join us for an informative webinar on operating safe and effective Municipal Vaccination Clinics and reaching vulnerable and at-risk residents of your community. During this webinar, we will hear from representatives of the Town of Vernon, who have established a nationally-recognized grassroots community vaccination program that serves all segments of the community. They will share how they stood up their program, the lessons they learned and explain how any community can do the same thing. Vernon leaders will walk us through step-by-step in successfully planning and operating a vaccinations clinic.
