Under the direction of the Superintendent of Schools, this position is responsible for:

  • The development and administration of personnel and labor relations;
  • Providing leadership, direction and guidance for the strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations of talent recruitment;
  • Personnel records and leave policies;
  • Collective bargaining and compliance with various state and federal rules and regulations

Minimum of 5 years experience in human resources in field of education, corporate or non-profit organizations. Thorough knowledge of employment law, staff evaluation process and organizational planning Demonstrated knowledge of CT State Statutes governing employment and State of CT teacher certification procedures. Superior communication, interpersonal, leadership and organizational skills Jursi Doctor (Master of Science in HR or Labor Relations for candidate with unique background or expertise).
