Tolland is an affluent town filled with historic heritage, New England village charm, and an excellent school system, all of which combine to provide ample opportunity for business growth and an exceptional quality of life for residents. The Town operates under the council-manager form of government. The Town Council, comprised of seven members, appoints the Town Manager who oversees the day-to-day operations of the organization which provides a full array of municipal services. The Town seeks a positive, visionary, and personable leader who strives to excel in the challenging arena of municipal government to be its next Town Manager.

The ideal candidate must hold a master’s degree in public administration or a related field and must have at least five years of experience as a City or Town Manager/Administrator in a municipality comparable in composition, if not size.
