WEBINAR

PROGRAM OVERVIEW back to top

On Friday, July 24, 2020 the Connecticut House of Representatives passed HB 6004 AAC Police Accountability.  The bill has approximately 27 varying proposals that address police officer training, oversight, actions in the field, equipment and liability.

In this webinar, you will learn from attorneys who specialize in representing municipalities and police officers on how various provisions of the bill will impact towns and cities.  Specifically, attorneys Gerarde and Tallberg will discuss the specifics of new language regarding police officers use of excessive force and the changes regarding government liability for police officer actions.
