Responsibilities include the planning organizing and directing the activities of an 80-person Public Works Department in the functional areas of civil engineering, road maintenance and repair, building maintenance and repair, solid waste collection and department equipment maintenance.

A Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business management, public administration or a closely-related field coupled with a minimum of 5 - 8 years of professional experience in engineering, public works administration, or construction project management is required.
The town seeks strong leadership skills coupled with strong union experience. Strong logistics knowledge experience and implementation is also required.
