PROGRAM OVERVIEW

 The Office of Workforce Strategy, the Office of the Governor, CCM, DOMUS Kids, and Our Piece of the Pie invite you to join a panel discussion focused on how Connecticut communities can create meaningful opportunities for opportunity youth while addressing real community needs. The session will bring together municipal leaders, workforce development partners, nonprofit leaders, and state representatives, for a 90-minute "community design lab." Rather than a traditional panel, we'll explore a series of real-world scenarios that many Connecticut towns face—from youth disengagement and workforce shortages to community projects that need additional capacity—and discuss practical, win-win solutions for both young people and communities. The conversation will be centered around the newly launched Service-to-Career Pathways Toolkit.
