PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This webinar will provide review of the MS4 Stormwater Permit and discuss newly enacted legislation that will allow towns and cities to create a local Stormwater Authority. Topics that will be covered:

• Current requirements of the MS4 permit and resources available to assist towns and cities meet those requirements;
• Understanding PA 21-115 which allows for local Stormwater Authorities and how New London developed and utilizes their Stormwater Authority;
• Understanding the potential legal liability to a municipality if the requirements of the MS4 are not met and legal considerations to understand when creating a Stormwater Authority.
