CT Charity Triple Crown

CT Charity Triple Crown

Connecticut Charity Triple Crown

Join us for this inaugural CCM-sponsored charity event! We look forward to welcoming all CCM members as well as residents, business, state officials and community members.

We invite partners to sponsor this event, which we hope will become the first annual philanthropic event — an opportunity to bring together all those who believe in collaborating for the common good.

This will be an evening of Triple Crown-themed food, fun, and entertainment!  Proceeds from this event will go to three great causes: Channel 3 Kids Camp, Homes for the Brave, and The Village.

Join us on April 11th as we race to give back!

Channel 3 Kids Camp

Channel 3 Kids Camp believes that ALL children deserve a Kids Camp experience. Its mission is to provide fun yearround opportunities to children of all abilities, families, and communities through educational and recreational programs that promote diversity, acceptance, and environmental appreciation. The nonprofit organization provides opportunities through traditional overnight and day camp summer programs, a year-round Camp Leadership program, weekend group rentals, respite weekends, and a year-round child care center for children ages 15 months through 5 years.

Channel 3 Kids Camp is located in Andover and Coventry Connecticut on 150 wooded acres alongside the Skungamaug River. Please visit www.channel3kidscamp.org or call 860-742-2267 to learn more.

Homes for the Brave back to top

Homes for the Brave

With an emphasis on Veterans, we provide the housing and services necessary to help homeless individuals return to a productive and meaningful life.

Our vision is to provide a model to enable homeless men, women and their families, especially those who have served our country, to attain safe, affordable housing, meaningful life activity and a livable income so that they may return to a productive and meaningful life.

ABRI/Homes for the Brave is privileged to be in our 16th year of serving homeless men and women, primarily Veterans, and helping them overcome their obstacles and achieve positive housing and employment outcomes. Because of your extraordinary support, we have helped nearly 1,200 men and women face their most formidable struggles and take strides toward self-sufficient and rewarding lives.

The Village back to top

The Village

The Village, founded in 1809, was one of the first agencies in the country to provide homes for neglected children. Over 200 years later, The Village continues to help vulnerable children and at-risk families throughout the Greater Hartford region - over 8,000 each year.

Our mission is “to build a community for strong, healthy families who protect and nurture children.”

We achieve our mission when we help children succeed academically and socially, place children in safe and permanent homes, help parents succeed with effective parenting skills, and help families prevent and manage crises. To accomplish this, we provide a full range of behavioral health treatment for children and youth, foster care and adoption, and community support services for children and their families in the Greater Hartford region.
