Town of Beacon Falls is hiring a Part Time (no benefits) Tax Collector. This position will oversee and administer responsibilities of the Tax Office - supervising the billing and collection of Real Estate taxes, motor vehicle, motor vehicle supplemental, personal property, water/sewer assessments, and the preparation of reports of collections, etc. Must have thorough knowledge of the principles and procedures of Municipal revenue collection assessment, land records and tax laws requirements and procedures.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Public Administration preferred. A Connecticut Certified Municipal Collector will be required; however once hired, Collector can take classes to obtain one in a 3 year period.
