WEBINAR
10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
SERIES OVERVIEW back to top
CCM and the Housatonic Resources Recovery Authority are excited to partner for a six part series, Waste Management and Recycling in Connecticut.
This series will provide an education on the basics of what’s currently happening to Connecticut's waste and recycling, how it is managed, where it is going, and what capacity currently is available.
These trainings will serve as a tool to help Connecticut leaders begin to look towards the future of creating a sustainable waste management system.
SESSION OVERVIEW back to top
In the final installment of this six-part series, CCM and HRRA will be joined by the Co-Chairs of the Department of Energy and Environmental Protections Connecticut Coalition for Sustainable Materials Management (CCSMM) to discuss their work over the last several months and what they expect the recommendations will be coming out of the CCSMM and how legislation can play a role to relieve municipalities from the financial and logistical burden of managing material.
