Getting Started with Sustainable CT: Sustainability Teams, Equity and Community Engagement

This workshop is the first of CCM's Sustainable CT workshop series and will provide an overview of the Sustainable CT program, the benefits to participation, and tools, resources, and funding for registered municipalities. We will focus on building effective Sustainability Teams and understanding and applying Sustainable CT's "Optimize for Equity" action, highlighting success stories from Sustainable CT certified towns. Hear from other towns and cities on their initiatives and how they have been able to optimize equity to develop more sustainable practices.


• Understand Sustainable CT, how to participate, and how to access tools, resources, and funding
• Build/improve an effective Sustainability Team to support successful implementation of Sustainable CT actions and engage your community
• Begin the process of applying Sustainable CT's "Optimize for Equity" action (a required action for Sustainable CT certification)
