The Search Is On: Finding and Engaging the "Hidden" Businesses and Employees in your Community

11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

We know about most of the businesses located in our commercial storefronts, offices, and industrial buildings. Those are often the businesses we communicate with most. However, our communities hold much more economic potential that is hiding in plain sight, and we need to be thinking about how to realize those opportunities.

Home-based businesses and entrepreneurs can have major economic impacts on the community if engaged and supported properly. Remote workers should also be a consideration moving forward, particularly as their numbers are growing because of COVID-19.

But how do we reach these people? And how do we help them realize their economic potential once we reach them? Join AdvanceCT on July 9th to find out!

  • Learn about the economic importance of home-based businesses, entrepreneurs, and remote workers to local economies.
  • Learn about the best ways to engage these individuals.
  • Learn about what these individuals need to grow and become key players in local economies.
