Will CCM require all attendees and staff to wear face masks/coverings and practice social distancing during the 2021 Annual Convention?
Yes. Based on a directive from our Board of Directors, we are requiring all Convention attendees, staff, exhibitors, and guests to wear masks.
We highly encourage all Convention attendees to be courteous of other’s personal space and social-distancing preferences.
Will CCM require proof of Covid vaccination or a negative test result?
Yes. In order to participate in the Convention, we are requiring all attendees, staff, exhibitors, and guests to provide proof of vaccination or to show a negative covid test (from within the previous 72 hours) upon checking in with us at Mohegan Sun. There will be a check-in point where we will ask to see your ID as well as your proof of vaccination/negative covid test result before you will be granted access to the Earth Expo and Convention Center.
Will any training class or meeting capacities be altered for safety?
CCM is prepared to alter class capacity to meet CDC guidelines. As of now, all training classes will be at full capicity, but that is subject to change based on CDC guidelines.
Once registration is complete and we know how many attendees to expect, we will work to set the rooms in the best manner possible. Every effort will be made to place larger classes in larger rooms to maximize separation, but all meeting rooms will not have a guaranteed six feet of separation between chairs and rows.
Has CCM made any changes to enhance safety for Convention attendees?
This year’s convention will include modified food service, which will allow members more freedom of choice to make dining decisions to their comfort level. Events with food will be served in a safe manner consistent with CDC and DPH recommendations.
Will there be any virtual components of the Convention?
For those who have attended CCM’s Annual Conventions in the past, we know there is nothing like the in-person experience, which is why we have worked so hard to ensure your safety at hosting this year’s gathering. With that in mind, the event will only be available for in-person attendance.
