COVID-19 Vaccines and the Workplace: Expectations and Next Steps for the Municipal Employer

1:00 p.m. - 2:15 p.m.

As COVID-19 vaccines are being distributed, employers are faced with many questions about how to handle vaccine-related issues in the municipal workplace. Join FordHarrison partner Johanna Zelman for an in-depth discussion on worker vaccination, including, whether employers can mandate vaccination, responding to objections to vaccination, handling requests for accommodation due to religion or disability, issues relating to time off and pay, and providing incentives for vaccinations.

FordHarrison is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for the SHRM-CPSM or SHRM-SCPSM. This course is approved for 1 hour of PDCs. This program is also pre-approved by HRCI for 1 hour of PHR, GPHR, and SPHR recertification credit.
