CCEH Annual Training Institute - Municipal Workshop

2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

The Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness’ Annual Training Institute (ATI) is Connecticut’s premier capacity-building event for organizations, frontline providers, and partners working to prevent and end homelessness in Connecticut. National and state presenters gather to provide training and information on best practices, promising innovations, and new system-wide initiatives as they relate to ending homelessness. This year’s ATI will be a week-long virtual forum for presenters to share cutting-edge thinking on racial justice, criminal justice, and economic justice in the face of COVID-19.

On the second day of this conference, the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities (CCM) and Sustainable CT join the Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness (CCEH) in presenting drafts of proposed actions for a new roadmap for how communities can address homelessness.  These best practices can help municipalities both earn certification from Sustainable CT and recognition from CCEH.  This session will be a “roundtable” format for participants to provide input on the both framework and what supports municipal staff need more generally in meeting the needs of residents confronting homelessness.
