The seminar will address legal protections afforded employees who engage in good faith reporting of unethical or illegal activities, or who participate in a discrimination investigation, or who otherwise oppose perceived discrimination.  We will address First Amendment protections, statutory protections, common-law protections and legal remedies. We will also address best practices when processing the whistleblower’s complaint and protocols for avoiding claims of retaliation.
