The Town of Westerly is accepting resumes and letters of interest for the position of Interim Town Manager. This position is responsible to the Council for the administration of all Town affairs placed in his/her charge by or under the Town Charter. Subject to Council approval, this position may also exercise and perform the powers and duties of one or more administrative officers instead of appointing some other person or persons to such posts.

The selected candidate has an anticipated start date ASAP and will be in the position until the placement of the Town Manager position, which is anticipated within six to nine months.

The Interim Town Manager will work at Town Hall. Current hours are typically 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; however, it is expected the Interim Town Manager attend scheduled and special council meetings, which typically occur on Monday nights starting at 6:00 PM.
