Highly responsible work planning, supervising, and administering an equitable real and personal property assessment program. Compiles and certifies the Grand List; administers and supervises appraisals, assessment appeals, classification and recording of property. Thorough knowledge of state assessment statutes, modern methods of assessment including large and industrial and commercial properties and proficiency with specialized software programs.

AS degree in Business or Public Administration and CCMA I certification with 6 years of progressively responsible experience in property assessment and appraisals with 3 years experience in a municipality above the level of Assistant Assessor, including 2 years of supervisory experience; MS Office proficiency and valid driver's license. CCMA II certification must be obtained within one year of hire.
