The City of Stamford Department of Adminstration is accepting applications for the position of Buyer for the Purchasing Division. The position is a full time, benefit eligible position. Interested, qualified candidates are urged to apply.
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Purchasing Manager, or Director of Administrative Services when appointed to the Board of Education; purchases an assigned group of materials, equipment, supplies and services necessary for the operation of the City of Stamford; does related work as required.

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree and five (5) years of purchasing experience.

$37.12 - $47.85/ hour Hours: 37.5/ week
