CCM To host Regional State-Local Legislative Updates On April 16,17 and 18 In Six Regions Across Connecticut

The Connecticut Conference of Municipalities (CCM), which now represents all 169 communities in the state, will hold a series of regional meetings across Connecticut -- as part of CCM’s Municipal Unity Week -- with city and town leaders on the mornings of April 16, 17, and 18 to provide local officials with an up-to-the minute report on key state-local issues before the General Assembly, as well as to seek input from leaders in that region on CCM advocacy efforts before the General Assembly in the closing seven weeks of the 2019 General Assembly session.
The meetings, which are open to all news media, will take place on Tuesday, April 16 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Norwalk Town Hall and at Torrington Town Hall; on Wednesday, April 17, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Hamden Town Hall and the Glastonbury Boathouse; and on Thursday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Groton Town Hall Annex and at the Eastern CT Educational Service Center.
