Performs very responsible administrative and technical work involving the day to day operational oversight and administration of the Marine and Facilities Division, Parks and Recreation Department. This major division of Parks and Recreation is responsible for the servicing, maintenance, alteration construction, repair, and storage of all structural and related properties under the control of the Parks and Recreation Department.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Parks and Recreation, Facility/Construction Management, or a closely related field or a Maritime College degree with emphasis on beaches, boating and related marine and maritime operations, plus 8 years of experience in the construction, maintenance and repair of maritime and recreational facilities including 5 years supervisory experience. Experience must have been obtained during the last 15 years. Ability to pass required swim test.
