Killingly CT (17,200) seeks an innovative and experienced leader with a solid financial and human resources background to be its Town Manager.

Killingly is a financially stable community, as evidenced by its AAA bond rating. The villages of Killingly form a charming, rural New England town with a mature corridor of economic development. The Town Manager, under the supervision of the Town Council, shall ensure Town resources are utilized effectively. Town activities are conducted in accordance with the Town Charter, Ordinances, federal, state and local laws. The Town budget is managed in accordance with established fiscal protocols.

The ideal candidate will have to demonstrate strong written/verbal communication skills and must be skilled in community engagement. BA/BS with MPA or equivalent preferred, must have 7 to 10 years of public management experience.
