Director of Human Resources - Enfield, Connecticut

The Town of Enfield is seeking a Human Resources Director who will
direct and supervise the human resources and labor relations program for
the Town of Enfield. This position is responsible for the maintenance
of personnel records, the recruitment and selection of personnel, the
administration of benefit programs and employee/labor relations
activities.
The ideal candidate will have a Law degree or a Masters degree in
business or public administration and not less than five 5 years
personnel/human resources experience, or a bachelors degree in the above
field and seven (7) years experience or any equivalent combination of
experience and training. Must have not less than two (2) years of
municipal experience as chief spokesperson in the negotiation of
collective bargaining agreements. Thorough knowledge of theories,
principles, practices and techniques or modern human resources
administration and organizational development. Must have a valid
driver's license.
CLOSING DATE: September 18, 2009
STARTING SALARY RANGE: $90,000-$100,000
