CIRMA, the largest municipal insurer and Risk Management expert in the state of CT has an exciting opportunity in our Risk Management Department reporting to our New Haven offices. Responsibilities include: providing risk management consulting services to member municipalities and agencies; conducting risk assessments and loss analysis related to worker compensation and general, automobile and professional liability; assisting members in developing and implementing risk management programs; presenting training and education programs and executive level stewardship reports.
Requirements: The successful candidate will have a degree in business, insurance/risk management, occupational safety, public administration, or related field, and a minimum of 4 years experience in risk management/control consulting, or safety management, with knowledge of property and casualty insurance, risk management principles, behavioral safety techniques, and effective training and education techniques. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines are essential.
