SUMMARY
Driving defensively means not only taking responsibility for yourself and your actions but also keeping an eye on "the other guy". This course teaches drivers how to monitor driver and road conditions and defensive driving techniques. Attendees receive a workbook and will be asked to complete a written test near the end of the class. Participants receive the National Safety Council DDC-4 Certification and wallet card after successfully completing this workshop. NOTE: Participants need to bring their driver's license or license number to the workshop.

Jeffrey Rogers
Risk Management Representative
CIRMA Risk Control Services
Mr. Rogers received a B.S. in Occupational
Safety and Health from Keene State College
in 2000 and is currently working towards a
designation in Associate in Risk Management
(ARM). He has been working in the field of Risk Management for
over 6 years. He provides technical assistance, training, hazard
identification, and accident investigation services for CIRMA’s
Workers’ Compensation and LAP pool members. Mr. Rogers
currently sits on the University of Connecticut Advisory Board
for Environmental Safety and Occupational Health.
