DESCRIPTION
Websites are a perfect tool for municipalities to provide
greater service and to increase communication with residents without
increasing costs or demands on staff.
This workshop will help attendees understand the benefits of
using the Internet as a key tool to provide information to
constituents about meetings, events, news, and governmental
services; while at the same time reducing phone calls and
making physical visits to town hall unnnecessary.
The workshop presenter will discuss the various options
available and the multitude of opportunities that a good website
provides.
Furthermore, attendees will gain a basic understanding of
how to go about starting the process of creating a website or
improving a current website.
