The Connecticut Conference of Municipalities (CCM), is the state’s largest, nonpartisan organization of municipal leaders, representing towns and cities of all sizes from all corners of the state, with 168 member municipalities. CCM is looking for a CRM & Data Administrator. This position will be responsible for understanding, developing, and deploying the front end of our CRM system. You will serve as the liaison to our IT department on CRM system matters. You will monitor our system and processes to ensure we do not have any missed opportunities. This positon will also play a role in non-CRM projects and initiatives within the organization that involve data collection, analysis, and reporting.

  • Serve as CRM system point of contact and assist users with processes, data issues, and troubleshooting
  • Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies
  • Develop and update user policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain protocols for handling, processing, cleaning, and validating data
  • Provide training to CRM system users
  • Lead an internal, organization-wide CRM committee
  • Collect and process data through queries and other tools
  • Create dynamic dashboards, visualizations, and reports
  • Identify organizational and operational trends and opportunities
  • Assist in the integration of the system with other technology (e.g., website, data portal, internal software systems, etc.)
  • Participate in other data-related projects and initiatives

Required Qualifications back to top

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Five or more years of CRM user and administration experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to explain technical processes simply
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize 
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing to broad audience
  • Familiarity with data visualization and website development tools is a plus
  • Enthusiasm for data and technology
  • Desire to work as part of a team
