Summary: Plans, organizes, and directs accounting, budgeting and financial reporting programs of the city. Prepares revenue and expenditure information for the Board of Finance, Mayor, and City Council. Coordinates the preparation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), internal control systems; and borrowing strategy with Board of Finance. Establishes priorities, coordinates the preparation and administration of City’s Budget and debt management program.

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Public Administration, or some closely related field plus eight years of progressively responsible experience in public financial management; OR Master’s Degree in Accounting, Business or Public Administration, or some closely related field plus six years of progressively responsible experience in public financial management.

Work Hours/Schedule/Type: Full time position, 37½ hours per week. Regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Required to attend monthly night meetings.

Salary Range: $100,648 - $131,534/yr.
