April 8 capitol rally & news conference to: detail what state budget proposals mean for towns and schools; and release results of statewide survey on retrenchments in town and city budgets

Over 100 municipal leaders and school leaders from across the state are
expected to descend on the State Capitol to conduct a municipal rally
and news conference on April 8 to detail what the state budget proposals
mean for towns and schools; and to release results of a statewide survey
on retrenchments in town and city budgets.
The news conference and rally will be conducted on Wednesday, April 8 at
11 a.m.. in the State Legislative Office Building, room 2D, in Hartford.
The Connecticut Conference of Municipalities is hosting the rally in
cooperation with the Connecticut Coalition for Justice in Education
Funding, the Connecticut Association of Boards of Education, the
Connecticut Association of Public School Superintendents, and the
Connecticut Association of Urban Superintendents.
