PROGRAM OVERVIEW back to top

Prescription drug misuse, which can include opioids, is among the fastest growing drug problems in the United States.

CCM has partnered with CABE to present a workshop on evidence-based interventions to help school districts, boards of education, and municipalities combat the ever-growing public health crisis in addiction that is facing our youth. This workshop will touch on signs and symptoms for addiction amongst adolescents, classroom interventions that have proven to be successful in Connecticut school districts, and what the municipality’s role can be in helping and supporting the fight against addiction across the state.
